I don’t do the detached, “How does that make you feel?” thing.
Are you ready for something totally different?
Therapist shopping is literally the worst, and I hope to make the process a little easier. I believe in building real connections, creating safe spaces, and helping you make meaningful change.
I spent 15 years working in disaster zones and human rights spaces, witnessing both the worst and best of humanity. People always ask me if shifting to psychology was a huge career change, but honestly? It wasn’t. At the heart of all my work is a deep commitment to alleviate suffering.
As a clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience, I feel at home in places that focus on healing the impact of trauma and oppression: domestic violence and sexual assault agencies, and LGBTQIA+ spaces.
When I’m not in session, I’m probably biking through the mountains or snuggling my dogs. I’m a hardcore animal lover, a frequent traveler, and always looking for a way to get back to my hometown, Chicago.
Thanks for taking the time to learn about me and I hope to have the opportunity to learn more about you, too!
