Fees & Insurance
A variety of payment options are available to meet your needs, including: self-pay, insurance billing, EAPs, scholarship programs, and support for out-of-network reimbursement. My goal is to make mental health care accessible for everyone.

Self-pay puts you in the driver's seat of your mental health journey. If I'm not in-network with your insurance, we can work together.
You choose your session frequency and work with me to create a treatment plan that fits your life and goals, without insurance companies limiting your options or dictating how many sessions you "deserve."
Your therapy stays between you and me, allowing us to focus entirely on your unique needs rather than justifying need to your insurance company.
With straightforward pricing and a simplified process, self-pay invests directly in personalized care designed around you and your wellbeing, free from the frustrations of capitalist insurance.

If I am out of network with your insurance, we can still work together. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, allowing you to receive partial reimbursement for your sessions. I’m happy to provide documentation for you to submit invoices for out-of-network reimbursement to your insurance.
Not sure how this works? Schedule a free phone consultation, and I’ll walk you through the process.
Working with an out-of-network provider has several advantages, including avoiding high deductibles, ensuring greater privacy for your sessions, maintaining control over your healthcare decisions, and increasing your provider options for services.
-
I am a in-network provider for Select Health, Aetna, First Health & Gravie Health Insurance. At this time, these are the only insurance companies I bill directly for services. I”m considered out of network with most other insurance companies, and you may be able to seek reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. For more details, please see the Out-of-Network section.
Please note: I am not in-network with Medicaid or Medicare.

Mental health scholarships play a vital role in increasing access to behavioral health services, particularly for individuals who are uninsured or underinsured. I am proud to be in-network with all major scholarship programs in Colorado’s Rocky Mountain areas. These scholarships help bridge the gap for those in need, offering mental health support regardless of financial barriers.
I am in-network with the following mental health scholarship programs:
Building Hope (Summit County)
Olivia’s Fund (Eagle County)
Tri-County Health Network (San Miguel County)
HeadQuarters (Garfield, Pitkin, & Eagle Counties)
Las Animas & Herfano Counties
At my core, I value equity in access to high-quality mental health care and I’m committed to ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to receive the support they need.

I am an approved provider for many major Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), which are typically included in employee benefits. EAPs often cover a set number of sessions (usually 3-6) at no cost to you, making them an excellent option for short-term, solution-focused work. They can also be a great way to begin therapy without a long-term commitment.
After utilizing your EAP sessions, it may be possible to continue treatment through self-pay or your insurance benefits. I am in-network with the following EAP programs:
Compsych
Triad
AllOne Health
Mountain Strong
Curalinc

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the Colorado Division of Insurance at 303-894-7490 or 1-800-930-3745.

Please provide at least 24h notice of cancellation for all pre-booked sessions. If you no-show or provide notice less than 24 hours prior to your appointment time/date, a fee will be charged for no-show/late cancellation.
