Got Questions?
Finding a therapist feels like online dating (read: dumpster fire), except a little more vulnerable. But here, the red flags get addressed instead of ignored. Whether you're therapy-curious, therapy-experienced, or somewhere in between I'm here to demystify the whole process. The efficacy of therapy is 80% relationship, so here’s some common questions/answers to help you decide if I’m a therapist you could vibe with.

I am 100% virtual and use HIPAA compliant Google Meet for all sessions. Virtual services allow you to skip the commute and do therapy in the comfort of your own home or office.

Therapy is a collaborative process and we’ll regularly check in about what’s working, how you’re feeling, and what level of support feels right for you.
-
Generally, what you share in therapy is private and protected by law. I take confidentiality seriously and create a space where you can speak freely without fear of judgment or disclosure.
However, there are a few specific exceptions required by law where I may need to break confidentiality.

There is suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or dependent adult
I am ordered by a court to release information
Outside of those situations, your information stays between us. If you ever have questions about privacy or want to understand how your information is handled, I’ll always explain it openly.
-
I accept all major credit cards and FSA/HSA cards as payment.
